Minutes from August 8, 2007 meeting held at Mid State Bank, Grover Beach, CA

Above attendance represents 9 of 13 teams with representation.

Minutes:

1. 13/13 team registrations with CalSouth were completed by Registrar Melanie Roese.

2. VP Mike Roese agreed to oversee the DOC.

3. Mid State Bank (Robobank) continues to review the Madrid sponsorship proposal.

4. Soccer Action in Santa Maria and Extreme Soccer can provide Madrid Premier uniforms and warmups.

5. Teams are requested to submit team information to Melanie for the website.

6. Stephanie submitted a player scholarship application, due by Sep. 15. An email was sent to team representatives to solicit submittal.

7. Club fees were again discussed. Club dues are $7/player/month. Teams are requested to make payment direct to Stephanie at the monthly club meeting or mail a check to our club address: AM USA Soccer Club, P.O. Box 16009, SLO, CA 93406.

8. A request was made to have meeting minutes uploaded onto the new website.

9. A request was made to provide an informational newsletter.

10. DOC Mark Jones requested a later meeting time; discussed opportunities to add new teams from recreational all-star teams; plans to distribute a draft coaching policy to coaches for review.

11. Next club meeting is at 6 p.m. on September 8, 2007 at Mid State Bank, Grover Beach.

New Business:

1. Need to discuss home field status for Coast Soccer League, including field use fees and field support (trash control, field set-up/tear down, etc.).
