Minutes from Sept 12, 2007 meeting held at Mid State Bank, Grover Beach, CA

Introductions were made. Representatives from the new B93 black were in attendance.

Treasurer’s Report

• no formal report given as only activity on General Fund Account has been the deposit of registration fees and the issuance of a check to Cal South for same.
• Scholarship applications due on the 15 th and Poinsettia Fundraiser is starting
• Melanie presented a $1,000 donation from Rabobank.
• Newly formed B93 black team was recognized. Benjamin Cornejo and Natalie Mejia will be handling the banking. Team representatives Jim Albrecht and Gabriel Fabela in attendance.

Old Business:

Home field for Coast Soccer League is Elings Field but as of yet we do not know the costs the club/CSL teams will be responsible for. Mike reported that as of the last contact he was told that we would be contacted if our help was needed. We still need to follow up on cost factors so that teams are not surprised later in the season.

New Business:

Discussion in regards to the position of DOC was had. Recent email had been received regarding upcoming coach’s meeting/clinic. Mike is serving as the liaison on this. Several teams voiced concern that months of Club dues had been paid and no services received. (reminder: Club dues are $7/player/month…with $3 going to the GF to offset costs and $4 going to fund the DOC). Request an “activity report” from DOC. This will be revisited at the next meeting and discussed prior to payment.

Next club meeting is at 6 p.m. on October10, 2007 at Mid State Bank, Grover Beach.
