Set right in the middle of Santa Barbara’s spectacular Santa Rita Hills Vineyard Region, this year’s Tournament will be held at the Damon Garcia Sports Facility in gorgeous San Luis Obispo. All natural grass in this amazing facility promises to give players and spectators the chance to enjoy the game in its natural elements. Our second location, Cuesta Community College, hosts beautiful fields off HWY 1 amid the rolling hills and wildlife. Great locations to host superior football in a single weekend!

This year’s tournament promises to provide solid competition from teams as far South as San Diego and as far North as the Bay Area. Teams from outside California as well as International teams are warmly invited to register, as we consider applications from all teams.

The Madrid Cup is both an opportunity for younger teams to compete at high levels, and will allow for older players the possibility to be seen by coaches from the 3 major universities in our area: University of California Santa Barbara, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and Westmont College. All 3 schools have phenomenal Women’s and Men’s programs. UCSB and Cal Poly Men’s teams are both nationally ranked the NCAA Division 1 and both were semi-finalists for the Big West Crown. Westmont is one of the best NAIA schools in the nation.
